These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Beauty Pro Exam (the "Site"), operated by Bozarth Software LLC ("we," "us," or "the Company"). By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What Beauty Pro Exam Is
"Beauty Pro Exam" is a product name and website brand owned and operated by Bozarth Software LLC — it is not a separate legal entity. Whenever you create an account, make a purchase, or otherwise enter into an agreement through the Site, you are contracting directly with Bozarth Software LLC.
Beauty Pro Exam provides study guides, practice quizzes, flashcards, and a review game to help you prepare for beauty-industry licensing exams in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technology, Barbering, and Massage Therapy. Study content is organized around publicly available national exam content outlines (from the NIC for the first four tracks, and the FSMTB/MBLEx for Massage Therapy) and was independently written for this project.
Beauty Pro Exam is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the NIC, the FSMTB, or any state licensing board. We are an independent study tool. Exact exam content, question counts, passing scores, and requirements are set by your state licensing board and can change — always confirm current requirements directly with your board. Using this Site does not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Accounts are for individual personal use; please don't share a single account across multiple people.
Membership & Payments
- Every account includes free access to one license track, automatically assigned the first time you open a track's content.
- Unlocking additional tracks requires a one-time payment (currently $9.99 per track), processed securely through Stripe. This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription.

Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell study content, questions, or explanations outside the Site.
- Attempt to circumvent track access restrictions or the payment system.
- Use automated tools to access the Site in a way that disrupts normal service.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual Property
All study guide content, practice questions, explanations, and site design are owned by Bozarth Software LLC and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial study use only. This license ends if your account is terminated.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the content is free of errors, that it reflects the most current version of any state's exam requirements, or that using the Site will result in passing any licensing exam. Study content is a supplement to, not a replacement for, your official state board's requirements and materials.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bozarth Software LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including exam outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Site and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
